Description:

Edibles Swappers International Chips Swap.

I have such a soft spot for potato chips, or corn chips... or just about any crunchy, spicy, wonderfully, sinful caloric treat I can munch while watching TV or playing on my computer or driving on a lengthy trip... All in favor, say "YUM"!!!

For this swap, each participant will have 1 partner, and will send their partner either a regular sized bag (about 6-9 ounces/170-255 grams) or several smaller bags for variety (of an equivalent weight/value). I usually buy a bag that 2-4 people could share if that helps with the size description.

If you have a favorite flavor or if there is something you would like to try, please list in the comments below... OR if you have any ALLERGIES that your partner should avoid, please list those in the comments below.

This is my first Chips Swap, so if you have any suggestions, please PM me.

Additions:
Please plan to ship your chips swap in a box to avoid crushing. =)

6-9 ounces are 170-255 gr, isn't it?

SweetClementine 12/14/2008 #

@kizmet I believe that's the right conversion to grams.

I would suggest that we all send our chips in a box. I've received chips smashed to crumbs in an envelope before, and it's not as fun! ;-)

I am happy to try anything new or interesting. I don't care for fish/shrimp flavored chips, but anything else will be great!

On my watchlist!

Very cool swap idea! I'm open to any type of chips.

I saw ketchup and mustard flavored chips at Wall-mart last summer. We had to get them just for the crazy flavor - my 8 year old loved them. He thought they tasted like hot dogs without the hot dog.

They reminded me of when we'd go to a family picnic or barbecue, all the kids would put chips on their sandwiches and eat them all crunchy.

im excited iv always wanted to try ketchup chips but we dont have them around here. im pretty much up for any kind of chip except for extremely spicey, and mushroom flavors lol.

My brother has been finding chips based on Burger King - like fries with ketchup or BK onion rings... The onion rings are good.

I agree with Kizmet - we should all ship the chips in boxes to avoid receiving crumbs.

Is anyone addicted to Pringles??? They have TONS of flavors!

Muriel 12/22/2008 #

Pringles are available in most countries I think.

News for anyone interested... I have found the Burger King Onion Rings chips. =)

Just curious... how many of you would be interested in making this 2 bags of chips or it's equivalent???

i might just join, i would love to send someone a bag of my faves Caramellised onion and balsamic vinegar crisps.

bubblygreek 01/11/2009 #

love, love crisps - but please no fishy flavours!!

kizmet 01/12/2009 #

I'm not that a fan of onion flavour but I'm willing to try anything else since we don't have a wide variety of flavours in Italy!

redsockz 01/12/2009 #

I would prefer no mustard or fishy flavors. Other than that, bring it on.
