Description:

The USA only version of this swap:

For this swap we'll attempt to do it like Jill Stoll. Jill Stoll is a fabulous collage artist. There has been a quote from her on our group page since forever "Collage is a hoarder's art." Her philosophy and her art are great!

Let's try to "channel" Jill's style. What do you see ...

*repeating patterns
*repeating shapes - familiar and unusual
*symmetry
*balance
*subdued color selections

What else do you see in her style? Comment below to help one another identify what it is about her collages that make them so unique. I can see one of her collages and know right away that it's her's.

Here is her website

And here is her instagram page

I have been reviewing Jill's style. Most of her pieces are neutral based with a small splash of one color. She uses book text, maps, ledger paper, graph paper a lot. These are used for the neutral material in her works.
