Your Hometown Postcard Swap

I can't find any postcards of my hometown. Can I make my own from photos taken around my hometown? Barbara

Hi Barbara--if you can't find one of your hometown, try and get one of your region or your state (eg. New England, Tennessee, The Rockies, etc.) I'd like to keep this one store-bought. Have fun!

Usually post cards only have a picture and the city name. Do we need to write something about where we live or just a friendly not to our partner? Thanks, Brandy

Hi Brandy--You can write anything you want on your postcard--it doesn't necessarily have to relate to where you live. Just a few lines for a nice greeting...

this is my first swap and i'm a little confused... are we supposed to send our pc's BY nov. 18th and have them arrive shortly there after, or are they supposed to GET them by the 18th? thanks!

Hi SewManyLittleThings: We are supposed to have our postcards in the mail by 11/18. It should only take a couple of days to for the postcards to arrive at their destination.

I received from Ceinwyn. I loved your post card. My husband and I have a treasure basket of what he has found at job sites and what we have found in Gettysburg and that's where we are displaying the post card.
