For all those in the Christian swappers group who have a US mailing address: Let's celebrate our US holiday of Thanksgiving, by sending our partner a note having to do with Thanksgiving and something for their kitchen or table to enjoy at Thanksgiving valued at least $6. Items do not necessarily have to be Christian but obviously could be. Suggestions: pretty dishtowels, salt and pepper shakers, pretty napkins, a soup ladle, etc... anything that could be either useful or decorative (or both!) for the kitchen or table at Thanksgiving. You can send one $6 item or a couple of smaller items, but please no dollar store or dollar bin items- make your package something your partner will truly be thankful for!;) For your note, you could write a letter about how your family celebrates Thanksgiving (Is it a big extended family gathering, or just you and your cat curled up on the sofa watching the Macy's parade:)?) Or you could make a list of what you are thankful for this year, write some Bible verses on giving thanks, or quotes about Thanksgiving, whatever you're inspired to do. Since this is a Christian group swap, I certainly hope we should have no flakers, and I will set no initial requirements other than, obviously, membership in the group and US only for this one. Although it's a group swap, I will be going through swappers profiles after the swap closes to sign-ups, and I reserve the right to ban if I see any red flags (recent no-sends, outstanding late swaps, history of late sending, etc...). Please make sure you send your package out by the deadline, so that it arrives to your partner in time for Thanksgiving on November 27! I know we are all so excited to get our partners ASAP, but please allow me up to 48 hours to assign after swap closing. It very well may not take me that long, but just in case I do find any red-flags, to give me time to look into the situation. Enjoy! ~Nicole |
