3-31-17 thru 4-28-17

--one 6 ½” X 6 ½” white block (100% cotton)

--hand embroidered with a flower and a butterfly in all one shade of red

--avoid maroon, burgundy, wine colored embroidery floss, etc.

Using only one color of red embroidery floss hand embroider any flower and butterfly you want on the white quilt block. Be sure to leave a ½” seam allowance around the outside of the block so when you assemble the block in a project you won’t hide any of the embroidery work in the seam allowance.

Be sure to do your best work and fill up as much of the allowed space as possible. I say this so that folks won’t send just a little bit of hand embroidery and leave a lot of white background.

Newbies welcome to join if you have 5 #3 swaps to your credit and at least a 4.9 rating. I reserve the right to ban anyone I feel might be a high risk.
