Let’s do individual portraits of of those cultural icons: Elvis, Jesus and John. I’ll probably do John Lennon, but you could do JFK or any other famous John you like. Let’s try to come up with something original for this swap. Maybe think of Black Velvet painting from the 1960s for inspiration. Googly eyes would be fun too! Make 3 ATCs each for 2 swap partners. This is an international swap. ATC is short for Artist Trading Cards. This is a great format for artists and creative people to trade their artwork. The rules are simple: 1. These cards must be 2.5? by 3.5? (the size of a baseball card). 2. They are traded but not sold. This is a free exchange of art. Pretty radical actually. 3. These are CARDS, they shouldn’t be flimsy. On the back, put your contact information. Please put your swap-bot name somewhere on the card or envelope so the receiver can thank you. You can also sign, date and add a title on the back. There are web sites and live trading session where folks exchange ATCs. You can see some of my ATCs on my favorite trading site (if you sign up, tell ‘em wackystuff sent you): http://www.atcards.com/gallery/browseimages.php?do=member&imageuser=1400 |
