Description:

International swap, open to newbies with a filled in and complete profile.

It will be winter soon, with the holidays that go along with it.

For this swap, you are to make two holiday cards (folded to approx. 4" X 6", to fit into a regular "card size" envelope) - by cutting out words from magazines and newspapers, and pasting them in place to make a nice greeting.

The phrase you come up with must make sense, but it can be "generic" - not for a specific holiday.

You MUST have at least SIX cut-out words, or even letters. You can also add a sticker, or two, to make it festive!

Put some thought into this, and have some FUN!

DETAILS:

You will have TWO partners, (that means you will get two ratings!).

Send one "ransom note" greeting card to each partner, sending it as a mailed greeting card, to your partner,

In other words, do not put your card and envie INSIDE another envelope....write their address on YOUR envelope, and send your card, signed as a friend, to them.

DO include your own swapping ID, the name of this swap, and also the date you mailed it.

And most important, have FUN!

Any questions, or comments, please just ask or message me.

The greeting should be either easily understood by an English-speaker, or you should use English words.

Yes, you can certainly cut out individual letters to make the words, just as long as your greeting, whatever it is, makes sense.

Since you wrote your question in English, I would hope that your have some access to English as printed words.

I hope that helps to answer, and good luck...most important, is that you have fun with it, so I hope you do not stress too much.

I think I accidentally deleted your question! I am SO sorry...I would love if you would repost it, as there may be others who wonder the same things.

Hello Gramsbuttonbox. Regarding the question, in case anyone else has the same issue: Can I use a magazine in another language to cut out letters to make the words in English? In my case if I need to writte 'Hello', it is very likely that my Spanish magazines will provide me with a 'He' and a 'llo' separedtly. I do have access to English material but not printed :) only electronical. Thank you for your answer! It's no stress, I find it more amusing this way :) Loking forward to star :) hugs!!
