September Journal Page Swap

For this swap - you will be sending your sheet of paper only.

There are only three ways you can send this to your partner...

Don't fold it at all and place in a large manilla envelope. Maybe add a piece of cardboard so the postal service won't bend up the envelope.

Fold your sheet exactly in half and put in a 6x9 envie. Again, you can add a piece of cardboard to prevent bending if you wish

Fold your sheet of paper in Thirds. Mail it in a standard business size envelope (number 10)

How you send it is Senders Choice.

Here's the idea of the swap. Monthly, we will have these Journal Page swaps if there is interest. The person who RECEIVES can put your sheet in a binder, a page protector or however she wants to save it and maybe collect more journal pages.

This will keep the postage low for the senders! And being that it is One sheet and it is paper, this swap is open to international as well because the postage will not be expensive.

Now, on to the journal page...

It is Senders choice as to what kind of paper, ink, decorations etc that you use.

You are required to Write this journal page and not print it from a computer.

You are welcome to decorate the page as you wish but please keep it FLAT. (no smashbooking lol)

Our first group Journal Page will be to Write About THREE things you find beautiful in life. These things are to reflect the SENDER. You can list them and then write a few sentences about why you find them beautiful. This page should have a Christian theme. You can decorate the page, write a little poetry, add some Bible verses or poetry...etc.. Spend some time on this page and be sure it is something you would like to receive and add to a journal page collection binder.

So.....in a nutshell.

First... you will only be mailing the page - the paper. It is up to the Receiver as to how she wants to save it .

You have Three choices of how you may mail the page

You will create a FLAT page about Three things YOU find beautiful in life. You may decorate it with some stickers, art, etc... just keep the page Flat. You need to write about why you find these things beautiful and you can add your own poetry or quote or Bible Verses, or may choose some that go with what you are writing about.

This is meant to be a inspirational post for your partner and a added page to her journal page collection.

Any questions... please comment on the swap or pm me.

If this swap is popular, we will repeat it monthly.

Be sure to rate your partner and send on time!

Good Questions, ThriftyUrbanMom. :)

Hi everyone! Yes, 81/2 x 11 -- I should have put that in the swap.

You can leave room for partner to write if you wish, but the general idea is for you to do a journal page for you partner to save.

I plan to keep them in page protectors in a binder. But use your own creativity -- and leaving a place for your partner to write as well would be nice I think.

Thanks for asking the questions!!
