Surfing the internet I came across an idea called 'bored in a jar'. It's meant to keep the kids busy during their summer break from school. I liked the idea and although I'm not in school anymore I will do this thing this summer. Maybe you like to join me? I made a list of 52 things to do, some cost money, others are free. I will print these, cut them out, fold in half and put those papers in a jar. Every other week I draw 1 piece of paper and will do this activity. If you would like to join me and use the same activities, you can find a pdf in this post. Sorry, I don't know how to share a file directly in a swap description. But feel free to use your own activities or to add or remove things from my list. New swaps (if people like this and join) will be up every 2 weeks, starting now and ending in august. There will be 6 rounds. You don't have to join all rounds. Write a message/email/share a blogpost/flickralbum to your partner telling about your activity. I can not check if you really put some activities in a jar and if you blind picked 1. Feel free to join without doing the jar part and just want to share something nice you did this summer. I also can not check when you did an activity, but it would be nice if it's something you did recently. |
