This is going to be a series of altered art swaps focusing on a different recycled item each swap. You'll be tasked with taking that item and turning it into some marvelous thing of beauty. To kick off this series, we'll be altering clothing tags or any other sort of hang tag commonly used to display prices and things in stores. Inspiration: upcycled and altered: clothing tags No cheats, please! Recycle a tag, don't use a new shipping tag. The tag can be any size or shape, vintage or modern. Art it up beyond recognition - style & mediums used are sender's choice. Make it hangable in some fashion so your partner can easily display it.

So, just to double check because I pretty much never buy new clothes (perks of having an older sister who wears the same size as you) I could use a tag from a pet toy or water bottle or whatever instead?
