Notice: these swaps are up and running again! I am, however, not doing them weekly but monthly. If we get enough participants, we can send one card each to 2 or 3 partners. This is a monthly swap for Christmas postcards. Your cards needs to be store bought or (very nicely) handmade. The cards are sender's choice. (I hand-make my cards by recycling the fronts of the beautiful cards I receive each Christmas. It is still an easy swap and saves a bit of cash for me and gets me into the “reduce, re-use, recycle†plan to help save a little bit of our environment.) So, nicely done handmade cards are OK—as are purchased cards, of course. We just need to be certain our handmade cards are high quality. You will send one card to one or more partners, depending on the number who sign up for the swap. The number of partners will never be more than 3. These cards need to be sent written and stamped (=naked). Once I get a sense of how many are participating, I will clarify whether we will have one partner or 2 or 3 partners for this and future swaps, so that only this first swap will be left open about that. Please bear with me on this until we can know for sure for all future swaps. When there are things you don't want to receive, for example, religious cards, please mention it in the comments below. Also, when you prefer written/unwritten in an envelope, mention it in the comments. If you have a handmade postcard that cannot be send naked, contact your partners first, and ask if they agree with an envelope. This swap is only for postcards. So no greeting/note cards, please :-). Most importantly, have FUN! |
