I took this idea from @Mindy82671 s public USA only swap -- she kindly gave permission for people to create it as an international swap. What to do with all of those beautiful Christmas cards you received......why, make a pocket letter, of course! Decorate 9 ATCs (standard size 2.5x3.5 and sturdy) with pictures, quotes, words, etc, cut out from the Christmas cards you received. This is a great way to recycle and show just how creative you can be! Place the completed 9 ATCs into a 9 Pocket Trading Card Sleeve. You do NOT need to decorate the back sides and you do NOT need to tuck in goodies. It should be flat enough to send in a business sized envelope. You should include a letter in one of the pockets. Make it a proper letter -- not just a brief note. Each pocket's card must have at least one element taken from a Christmas card, but it's fine to add other things -- paint, stickers, embellishments, and the like. Try to make this a really beautiful pocket letter -- one that your partner might like to get out and hang up next year! |
