Spring magic yarn ball

I still havent got one from the last swap, but I had a ton of fun making it so hopefully i wont get a slacker for a partner this time.... definately in.

I have so much fun doing these yarn balls! Glad you did a spring one.

Well, I didn't get mine from another swap, and it can be disappointing, because I sent a really nice one, but I'll try again! It was sooooo much fun putting it together. I just kept adding things and winding them up into the ball. I actually had to get a second skein of yarn to hold it all. lol I like the spring theme.

I'm heavily debating whether or not to drop :( I joined the last MYB twice and was disappointed both times for the 1st it didn't seem like the contents amounted to the value it was supposed to, then the 2nd one she regifted from the SAME SWAP (not to mention included a yarn she spun in the grease dirty and all, which would normally be ok since I've worked with fibers from the beginning to end, but it was not expected from this type of swap)! I can't believe it and I'm just stunned right now.

If I stay in, will my partner PLEASE PLEASE put more consideration into my ball, I'm so disheartened right now it's not even funny.

It sounds like a fantastic swap, but I can't take part because I'm not in the US or Canada.

Interesting....tisjewelart my partner also regifted items from the MYB I sent early to her ..to her partner....I understand regifting/swapping but not in the same swap, it seems rude to say the least...

You have to buy some spring related items and wrap it up with yarn to make a magic ball. Your partner will have unroll the yarn to find the items that you sent.

My package to Gaylynne is on it's way today. I have been so rushed, I did not take a picture of the outgoing mystery ball, but will post a picture when I receive my mystery ball! It will be a pleasant surprise for an otherwise hectic several weeks! (car in shop, busted water pipes, septic tank repairs, etc etc.)

Hey, I saw the pics - it looks great from your end, too. hehehehe I don't know how to upload pics yet, so I was happy to see one I put together posted on the site - I had so much fun putting that together. I love these swaps, especially the yarn ball swaps. There's just something so cool about wrapping surprises up in a ball of yarn.

I am your partner for this one so be patient your package his on his way to your home since march 15, so it's gonna be there soon, it's coming from canada so sometimes it takes longer and I did put extra to make it up for the mail who always take longer from Canada... I hope that you will understand.

I think that serenity rae have just drop out and will not send her package to her partner like Sasha did. I did try to find angel for those who haven't received anything.

Two persons will not received package sinc two persons drop out so I found one angel so one is still missing so I will send a little someting to the other one.

Gina - thank you for being a wonderful hostess. Mail came today and I have not rec'd my package yet. I will not give up hope. I'll presume mine is coming from a far off land (Canada?) or mailed on the deadline. I had fun regardless.

So should I be worried that I haven't received anything yet?

I'm the only one who has the info since I'm the coordinator. You are going to see who is your partner in a few days when you have to rate her.

Sometimes you have to wait longer to get your package like mine his gone to Alaska and I live in Quebec, Canada. So be patient and I'm sure that you will receive something soon.

I received my box today - drats - as I am walking out the door for a 5 hour road trip!! I'll take some pics on Saturday when I get pack and upload to the gallery.
