Create a Ouija Board Swap! US & Canada

Well, with Halloween coming up, I've decided it might be cool to create a Ouija Board swap! Usually I create Ouijas on wood blanks, but lately I've been throwing out old games and noticing that I have these perfectly good game boards... just no pieces to go with them anymore :P This got me thinking, why not make Ouijas out of them!?!

I will check out all participants before assigning partners. If anyone fails to send theirs out, they will be forever banned from my swaps.

Take an old game board (or STURDY blank made from wood, cardboard etc) and prime it with gesso or primer and create away!

You can paint it, draw it, collage it... just make sure to put much work into it so that it is special! If you use any 3D embellishments... only use them on the outer edges so that a planchette can still be used :)

Varnish with a nice coat of varnish when you are done to protect your creation.

For a Planchette you can cut one out of thick cardboard and add little legs (just enough to raise it off the board) with felt bottoms so that it slides nicely on the board.

If you are not sure what to put on your Ouija, just google for ideas.... there are many styles of talking boards out there. You can use any kind of theme you want for this swap.

I want to get these to arrive before Halloween, just in case anyone would like to put them to good use ;)
