For this swap we will be doing zentangles on top of watercolor backgrounds you create.
You are sending ONE handmade ATC to TWO partners
You simply need to do some sort of watercolor background on a ATC sized piece of watercolor paper (hot or cold press - sender's choice).
Colors are senders choice.
It doesn't have to be any fancy techniques.. Just splashing on different colors can create some amazing backgrounds. I like to do a whole sheet of watercolor paper and then cut it up into pieces, but you can do whatever works for you.
THEN - you will zentangle on top of the background once it is completely dry.
Subject matter will also be sender's choice.
Please make sure to use sturdy watercolor paper - not flimsy computer paper. If you do watercolor background on anything other than watercolor paper - it will not only tear up the paper but also buckle it. Sometimes watercolor paper does buckle - there are techniques you can find online to straighten the paper back out.
No multiple and/or recent 1's or 3's.
Newbies allowed on a case by case basis
I reserve the right to ban anyone I deem questionable.
If you have ANY questions please PM me.. I am not on sb every day and hate to miss a question/issue you might be having.
Here are some links to easy watercolor background techniques (but there are tons and tons of others you can find by googling) - you dont have to use these but you can if you wish:
