Description:
For this swap, you'll be making a letter that your partner will hold on to for the future! Write one page about what it's like to be right here, right now. You can write whatever you want to, but keep in mind, ten years from now (or more), someone will open this to get a glimpse of life in days gone past. What's your favorite part of being alive in 2015? Least favorite part? What do you think the future will hold? What are your worries and hopes? Keep in mind, your partner may save the letter for more than 10 years. Write at least one page, hand written or typed. Then put it in an envelope with a nice stamp. On the outside of the envelope, simply write the address, your return, and "Do Not Open Until July 6, 2025". Then get it hand-postmarked at the post office. We want the postmark to be legible! If you get an envelope, rate a 5. Then tuck it away unopened-- somewhere very very safe! Save it for yourself, your kids, or your grandkids- a little message from someone, somewhere, in the past... This swap is newbie friendly. I will angel if flaked.

The person will receive the letter back? Another thing I think will be good is to put an email outside, so if the person moves she can receive a feedback.

TEX82, I saw this as the person you mail the letter to will keep it for 10 years and open it in 10 years. You dont get a letter back.

Yes, you send a letter to the person, and they keep it. I know lots of us write letters to our future selves already, but maybe it's nice occasionally to write a letter to some other future person :)

The email idea is cool, I'll leave it optional :)

I sent a postcard inside my letter with my return address and a stamp just in case I still live here. Plus I sent one forever stamps, cause hey it will still be useful in 10 years provided we are still a country. hahhahahha
