I appreciate the wonderful person who took the time to send me a p.m. about the comments above, as I had requested in the swap description. It is because of her consideration to explain where to look, that I now understand what exactly @user2637 meant by "dash." In doing so, I have now removed the person mentioned, based on four late swaps currently still listed on her profile.

Thank you for participating in this swap with me! The first thing we will do is, get a notepad to write down our responses to the following questions. Then based on the subject's we chose, we will pick two postcards to send to our partners. They can be the same or different, as long as they have something that represents one of the subjects in the picture.

Write down the numbers 1-4, give yourself enough room to write four words after each number. Now whatever is the first word (subject), or words for the descriptive parts, that pops into your mind that best fits the answer to the questions, write it down. Be sure your in a calm space, away from distractions while taking this quiz.

Beside numbers 1-3, write the name of the first word that comes to your mind for the subjects questioned. Then write three adjectives, describing it. ~ Use just three single descriptive words.

1: ~ What is your favorite color?

2: ~ What is the name of your favorite animal? - It can be a real, fantasy or a mythical animal.

3: ~ What is your favorite body of water? - It can be anything that has water in it, like a bath tub, river, ocean, waterfall, lake, tea, etc.

4: Write the word, "Room." Now imagine that you are in a room, by yourself. Whether, it's light or dark in the room is up to you. There are no doors and no windows. There are four walls, a ceiling and a floor. Please write three words that describe how you feel in that room.

Based on your answers to the subjects listed, choose your postcards. Then transfer your word choices to the postcards. Be sure to write the name of the swap & your S.B. User ID on the top left-hand side of the postcards and date them. Then send them off to your partners.

After everyone has marked that they have sent their postcards, I will come back and reveal the origins and analysis of this quiz. ~ Cari

So we only send one pc per partner? So we choose a postcard based on our answers? Does it have to incorporate everything? Or just a few words?

Yes, it's one p.c. per partner, that the picture is based on at least one of the subjects of your answer. It does not have to incorporate everything. Just one thing. EX: if you chose a cat for the animal, then a cat p.c. is good, or a lake for water, then a p.c. with a lake is good, etc. As for the words, it's #'s 1-4, then the subject word followed by the three descriptive words, that are actually written on the p.c.'s. ~ That's it.

Another Note: I only have one answer that has changed over the years from when I first took this quiz... my animal. So I will give you an example based on the first one I choose, back at the young age of 18. I imagined a black panther with green eyes to be my favorite. So on the p.c. that would be written as...

2: Panther ~ fast, nurturing, mysterious

...because that's what I thought about it at the time.

I am and I'm keeping track. I'm visiting the "view participants" page to see when people mailed their p.c.'s. Thank you for thinking of making a note of it here, though. I think it's also fun to see when people receive theirs, too. So that's a good idea to comment about it. :-)

Now that it's been a couple of days since the last person has marked that they have mailed their postcards, I will reveal the analysis. :-)... if you are ready. Or would you prefer that I wait until the deadline to mail the p.c.'s is over?

I am curious how many people have received their p.c.'s from their two partners? ~ I have only received one so far.

Only one so far. And might I just add if I was in a room with no doors or windows, I sure would wonder how in the world I got there.

Origins: This Psychoanalysis quiz is based off the work of Carl Jung.

Analysis: The words chosen represent the following…

1. The person you would like to be or how you would like others to see you.
2. The person that you really are or the traits that you have on the inside.
3. How you feel about sex.
4. How you feel about death.

The title of this swap was my own silly idea and not what Carl Jung called this self analysis quiz. :-)

@AZmom875 yeah, I've always enjoyed this little quiz. It's a great ice breaker at a party, too. Funny thing, when I was younger, I would give this quiz to guys who asked me out, in order to learn more about them & to determine if I wanted to let them get any closer to me. :-) One guy's answer to #3 was: Lake ~ cold, dirty and dead! Yikes! Lol
