Happy Stitches

I'm a newbie in the world of sewing and have just discovered the joys of fabric collecting and sewing supplies! For this swap you will send your partner one "fat quarter" of all cotton fabric (you can send larger if you'd like, but at least fat quarter size is the minimum). They often will have these already cut at the quilt shops or Joann Fabrics. You will also include 2 items from the list below:

*pin cushion (handmade or store bought)

*needle book (handmade or store bought)

*container of pins for pinning fabric (new or gently used, please don't send your partner a hodge podge of 10 pins)

*6 quality buttons (all the same or different)

*1 complete pattern in a package (meaning it can be vintage or thrifted, but unused)

*2 patterns printed from the computer. It would be awesome if you send your partner a pattern you've done before and enjoyed, for example! Etsy has some great downloadable patterns and there are fantastic free patterns available online too. :)

*1 unopened package of Bias tape

*1 unopened package of elastic

*1 new LARGE spool of thread (a good sized spool for a sewing machine)

If you have a gently used or new sewing item that you think your partner will enjoy that I haven't listed, please count it as one of your items.
