National Poetry Month - Week 2

April is National Poetry Month! This will be a month long swap series for poets and burgeoning writers in honor of this month. Each week, we'll explore a different theme.

NOTE: In week one, I initially stated that we'd explore different styles as well however, I have considered this and don't want to bind any writer to a particular style, especially if their ideas and inspirations don't suit a particular style. So with that in mind, moving forward, I will only provide a theme for the swap. How you interpret that is up to you.

**This Week's Theme and Style - ** The theme is Inspiration and can be written in any style of your choosing.

Rules and Requirements

• Poems may be handwritten or typed.

• Enclose a short note explaining the inspiration for your poem.

• 1 poem, 1 partner.

• This series is open to international swappers.

• Swappers must be in good standing - no unexplained 1s or 3s and I reserve the right to ban anyone I feel is questionable.

• Newbies are welcome!

You will have one week to send your poem. If you wish to participate in the entire series, poems will be due in the mail by each Friday (to include May 1st) for each series swap. As soon as partners are assigned for one, the next will be posted.
