I hosted a row of these swaps in 2011-2012, many people thought it was fun :) I changed rules a lot, let's try it this way and see what happens.
Please, choose any nice postcard (check your partners profile for preferences) and write what do you know about their country. Please, do not use Wiki and other sources. Just write information you have in your head :) Don't be afraid to write any common misconception. If you have nothing in your head, ask your family or friends for help but don't use any sites/books/etc! Some countries are small and not well-known. Please don't ask me what to do if you got partner from small and not well-known country. Just... improvise!
Don't forget to check you partner's name in list below. It might be that they represent another country, the the one you will send to.
After receiving postcard from your partner, rate promptly. Please note that you MUST rate 5 if postcard says for example that people in your country eat newborn children and wear their bones as jewelry. My point for you is to not join this swap if you are easily offended by other peoples' lack of knowledge. But feel free to leave a comment with your rate, for example: "No, we eat children only after their 5th birthday, they are quite tasteless before that".
Requirements:
- Postcard must be based on your partner's profile (postcard wishlish, color preferences, their tender to some animals, anything).
- Any new store bought postcard is allowed. No handmade, vintage or ad-cards unless your partner states they like them. Postcards should be mailed without envelopes (naked / written&stamped).
- Ratings 4.97 and higher. You must have at least ten completed and rated type 2 or type 3 swaps. Not only electronic ones! I will read each profile with all my attention.
How to join:
- Two people from each country can join. But only from different cities/states. We only count countries you represent. If you happen to get partner representing the same country as you, write about their city/state.
- Here below you can see the list of names and countries. To join you need to write where you join from and what country (and city/state) you represent. So if you live in some country but originally are from another, you can still join. But you also can join for the country you are sending from. There is also list of countries. If we have one participant from country, the name will be written in regular text. Name written in bold means that you cannot join from this country anymore as we have two participants.
