For this swap you will create an ATC for your partner that screams "Amazing April!" What does this month mean to you? What does it make you think of? Let's make some happy April ATC's! Rules for this will be clearly stated here, so make sure to read and follow them. :) This is to avoid confusion and disappointed partners! Rules: 1.) Make your ATC standard size- about 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Use thicker paper like cardstock- not regular computer/printer paper. You do NOT have to glue them onto a cardboard backing since sometimes they can be too thick and the envelope can get stuck in the mail sorting machines. 2.) Protect your card in a plastic sleeve, paper sleeve OR in a note card! (I know some don't have plastic sleeves) 3.) NO STICKER SLAPPING OR IMAGE SLAPPING. Sticker slapping meaning that its a sticker or two as the main focus of the card. Image slapping meaning that you just print off a picture or cut one out of a magazine, glue to scrapbook paper, add some washi tape or a sticker, and call it done. It's only one ATC and shouldn't be too overwhelming, let's spend a little time making a pretty one our partners will enjoy. 4.)Examples of acceptable mediums are: hand drawn, hand painted, multiple rubber stamped images to create a picture and then colored in, or NICELY MADE multi-layer collages :) Use more embellishments in your collage than just one sticker or printed image if doing a collage. Keep in mind that thick or 3D embellishments may require additional postage! 5.) Make your atc say the word "APRIL" somewhere within the design! :) 6.) ONE ATC 7.) ONE PARTNER If you have questions, please let me know before partners are assigned so there's no confusion! :) If this goes well, I will make some more for the other months. :) |
