Sunshine & Gratitudes PC Swap - I need your help!

I need your help! A few years back (6 years ago?!) my half-sister's mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It's been a long battle ever since and she's now hit a pretty hard, dark wall in her treatment. My half sister and I just lost our dad after a short battle of pancreatic cancer last year. And, unfortunately, it's looking like her mom might not be on this Earth much longer. Losing both your parents in less than a year is just too much. And her mom's taking the news hard as well.

It's really heartbreaking and her and her family, including my sister, are just having a hard time with it, understandably. I want to try to bring a little sunshine into their life, and I'm rallying up you, my troops, to help me do this.

If you are so inclined, please consider sending them each a little encouragement. A stupid card, a pretty postcard, just a note that says, "You kick ass. Just wanted you to know." Whatever you send will bring a smile to their face. You don't have to say that I sent you, perhaps the unknown will make it a little more heartwarming.

The swap signup is until March 20th, but please feel free to send to my sister and her mom as soon as you are able.

Let's fill their mailboxes with hope, sunshine and laughs. Shall we? You don't have to join this swap to send them something, but if you do join, for swap purposes, send your partner a postcard that brings hope, laughs, sunshine. Sender's choice, but bring a smile to your partner's face. On the postcard, write 1-10 daily gratitudes. The world is just unfair sometimes and it's important to recognize the things that make us happy in every day. Just because I want everyone to feel included, I'm opening this up to international folks as well!
