Description:

I love book pages which come in handy in a lot of my crafts. Cut outs, ATC's, mail art, painting, stamping, using in smashbooks... and reading and educational reasons too :)

This is a simple swap and you'll have 2 partners. I was going to make it 1, but this is going to be a very light-weight & cheap swap to mail, does not take long to do, and having 2 partners means more variety. :)

For each partner you will send a minimum of 4 book pages. 4 pages to each partner, means you will be sending 8 pages all together.

Now, rules.

  • Book pages can be any shape, format, language, and type.

  • Book pages can be folded to fit in a standard sized envelope.

  • Include a variety - not 4 pages from the same book.

  • A "page" must not be smaller than postcard size. You are welcome to include any cut-outs and ephemera that are smaller pieces from any book, for this swap, but they do not count as a page & would be extras. You can also trim/cut down the page, if it is too big for your envelope; but please do this with care. No one wants to receive a page which is directly cut in half.

  • Book pages do not have to be vintage, or black and white. If you are looking for those types, don't join this swap, as you may be disappointed if you don't receive them. That's because this swap is...

  • Senders choice!

  • Types of books you could use for this swap? Dictionaries, fiction, picture books, vintage, old, black and white, colour, poetry, illustration, non fiction, collectables, music sheets, history, travel, childrens, maps, colouring book pages. The list goes on.

  • Please send only pages that are interesting (to you) & no trash, no leaflets, no junk mail, etc. These pages must be taken from a book chosen by you, for some reason. E.g, you find them interesting, you think they are appealing, pretty, they could be useful for crafts, etc.

  • Book pages do not have to be in English. They can be in any language, or even not even have any language on them at all. But remember, variety is key.

  • Include a note for your partner noting swap name & your username.

What will you do with the book pages when you receive them? Well, you could make envelopes from them, cut them up and make things from the cut-outs, smash/junk/art journal the page up, make a postcard or mail art from the page, use it for an ATC, recycle it, file it, read it, share it, pass it on... whatever your heart desires.

Have fun.
