This swap is for all primary (K-2) teachers - current, retired, or doing their student teaching. Let's get ready for school! There are three parts to this swap. Send all three parts to both of your swap partners. Send a letter of introduction. Tell how long you've been teaching and where. If everything goes well, you may end up being penpals or mentors for eachother. (Cost=Free) One new or used teacher book (like a book of patterns or worksheets or activities). (Cost=Free to $15) Send a gift. This can be school supplies, a small care package (like chocolate, asprin, and mints), or a profile surprise. (Cost=hand made or approx. $5) If you are needing a certain kind of thing (like I am in need of 2nd grade math worksheets), then you can list that below or in your profile. But that doesn't mean your partner -has- to send you that. Ok? Any questions? Just send me a message and type the question below as well so everyone can see that it has been asked. Thanks! I love this swap but I know how stressed I am in Aug-Sept to even BE in a swap! haha I would be happy to send you some 2nd grade math sheets by email (scan some in) if there is a specific math topic you need worksheets on but I can't handle much else. Take care and thank goodness I still have some summer vacation left! haha First Grade Rocks! Tia :)

What a wonderful idea! Getting a package like this right when school starts will be a great pick up!

One thing...I teach third grade-but I figure a lot of 2nd grade materials can be adapted for 3rd, right? I really need anything related to Math or Science...I'll be teaching these subjects this year.

Sure, I think we could let a 3rd grade teacher in the swap! Some districts consider 3rd grade primary.

I think she means Kindergarten through 2nd Grade not K2 but K2 is 2 yr old.When I worked in daycare we had K2.

Ohhh This would be so fun! I am about to do my student teaching, though not in the primary grades. I'll be teaching History to high school freshmen. I'll be watching this thought!
