Description: | |
It's that time of year again, when people all over the world celebrate the holidays, and send cards. For this swap, you'll have 2 partners, and you'll make a card for each, and write a note inside. Each card needs to be handmade. You can choose to accomplish this through papercrafting, embellishments, tape, etc, or even through the use of digital art and printed out. If you choose to create the card on the computer, and then print and mail it, it needs to be artwork you've had a hand in. No slapping a half dozen pre coloured clip art images on a card and calling it done. You do NOT have to match your card to your partner's preferences. This is a fairly short notice swap, so it's not fair to require that. Just note my two requirements below. Keep in mind everyone's at different skill levels within the group, so the card you send out may be much nicer than the card you receive. As long as the card is sent on time, and looks like your partner spent some time on it (more than 5 minutes), please rate accordingly. There are a lot of different personal, religious, and political views this time of year, and in the interest of "Good Cheer" during "The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" I ask that you: a) not send a card (or message) that's inflammatory or demeaning towards another person's views (No Christ was born in the Spring, Pagans are going to Hell, Kwanzah isn't a real holiday, etc). b) accept that the card you get might not reflect your holiday views. You may not celebrate Hanukkah, but you might get a Happy Hanukkah card. Or, you may get a "Happy Holidays" when you view Jesus as the reason for the season. I reserve the right to remove swappers for any reason, up to and including: problem swappers, attitude, late swaps, flaking, bad ratings, phases of the moon, or because my cat says so. Let's hope I won't have to. |
