It appears the original hostess of the swap Make someones Christmas for 49 cents USA #2 is having some issues with her ratings. I loved the idea of the swap (and already had my envelopes made) so thought I would hop in and open up a private swap for those that were originally signed up for the swap. All the stuff below is the same as the swap hosted by florenceantonette."So Christmas is around the corner and I thought I would be nice to do a swap for flat mail items. You will have 5 partners this round. There will be another one with 10 partners around November. You can put them as stocking stuffers and not open them until Christmas, or you can open them as you get it. I personally am just going to use them as stocking stuffers but please rate once you receive (if that makes sense). Please write the swap on the outside of the envelope and decorate it with some sort of Christmas theme: stickers, washi, handmade envelope. Comment in the box down below at least 3 things that would make us smile. Whether it may be some quotes, a postcard, what have you. It can give our partners a little hint on how we're feeling this week. By all means this is still senders choice but I would like to give those an option to say what they may be wanting. You will have 5 partners this round. This swap is to make someones day. You will put a few items in an envelope with at least one 49 cent stamp. Please let it weigh closely to 1oz of happy mail, don't just add one note and a sticker and think it's going to make someones day, because most likely it won't. It's okay if you go over, but at least 1oz. Please include your user name along with a little note and a couple of the following: A few ideas: funny card postcards note cards stationery journal cards smash it items stickers coins from other countries washi tape samples kawaii positive quotes ephemera something that makes you happy the list goes on, I would suggest to take a peek at their profile and just have fun with it :) You must have at least 15 completed type 2 or 3 swaps." Copied from the Discussion Section to show participants' preferences:*fabkimberly 11/ 4/2014 # I would love to receive any of the above with a Christmas/Holiday Theme (non-religious), especially washi tape or ephemera. *CENDING 11/ 4/2014 # vintage ephermera, mailing labels with my address, cute stickers *MsKuky 11/ 7/2014 # Vintage Ephemera & Stickers...cutouts (since I don't have punches) atc paper.
