We will each make a necklace inspired by a book or author quote. And place the necklace on a handmade card with the quote we chose written on it. The necklace you make for your partner should have a minimum length of 16-18 inches, and include at least one pendent. Cost of materials to make each necklace should be between $8-10, not including shipping. The Pinterest Link is in the comments section... But here are some examples of what book quotes inspired necklaces on the Pinterest link: Examples: A bird on a branch pendent necklace was inspired by the Emily Dickinson quote: "Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words and never stops at all." (you could also do instead a feather pendent for this quote.) Another was a teacup charm necklace inspired by Lewis Carrols Alice in Wonderland. A lightening bolt necklace inspired from the book Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. A birdcage or bird pendent necklace inspired by the quote from Charlotte Brontes, Jane Eyre: "I am no bird and no net insnares me. I am a free human being with an independent will. " Those are just examples and there are endless possibilities. If you do get stumped you can use an example from above, otherwise it's free to the sender to choose any book or author quote as inspiration for making their partners necklace.
