Description:

I thought I would combine two of my favorite things into one swap: Tea and Advent calendars! I love tea, and I love opening a little something each day in December in anticipation of Christmas! In the winter months, I drink lots of tea and I'd love a new one to try each day! I actually was going to purchase a tea advent calendar, then it occurred to me that it would be relatively inexpensive and much more fun to create one within the swap-bot community!!

Here's how it will work:

Each person will have one partner per round, and there will be 5 total rounds. Swappers will send their partner 5 different teas, and the teas are to be wrapped in a decorative envelope bearing an advent number. For example, this swap is #5 so you will label the envelopes 20-25. Wrappings do not have to be Holiday themed, but its a nice touch! Wrapping paper would be a wonderful solution for these envelopes! Teas are sender's choice, but do peek at profiles to ensure you're not sending anything they are allergic to or have listed as a dislike. This time around you're sending a final envelope that is similar to "happy mail." Include a tea, and a bunch of flat items like stickers, washi, postcards, bookmarks, notecards, stationery and memo sheets to brighten your partner's Christmas morning!

To recap:

  • This is the 5th of 5 total rounds.
  • 1 partner, send 5 different teas (sender's choice but do consider dislikes)
  • Teas are to be wrapped in decorative envelopes and labeled 21, 22, 23, 24 & 25 (Christmas!)
  • For the 25th envelope, please send your partner a bunch of flat goodies (memos, stickers, washi tape, postcards, bookmarks, notecards, etc) along with a tea to open on Christmas morning!
  • Try to make the envelopes different, as your partner may chose to display these!

Thats pretty much it!

Participants must have 10 rated type 2 or 3 swaps under their belt, with no recent 1's or 3's. Lets not ruin the Christmas Spirit by flaking, hmm?

NOTE: This swap ends on the 1st of December. Even though it is international, you should receive your final 5 envelopes before the 20th of December. HOWEVER, please be kind and send early rather than later, especially if you know your post takes a bit to arrive!
