I'm picking up a swap that was done in this group a LONG time ago by DrRuss (nystarcards). In this swap, you will create one postcard for two separate partners. The postcard must be handmade and sent naked. The "theme" of the postcard will remain a mystery until partners are assigned. "This is for those curiosity seekers who wish to take a gamble on the wild side" -- Dr Russ. The theme will be totally accessible to everyone right after the partners are assigned - listed below in the comments. You are free to interpret the theme any way you see fit and will have plenty of time to create! Have fun! The image above is from FiWebster at Flickr. It says, "Mysteries of India unveiled." This has nothing to do with the theme I'll be choosing I just think it is a fun postcard

The general theme is "Children's Literature."

Create postcards featuring something from children's literature. You can use images, words, quotes or all three. This can be "child like" or make it more adult (scary, burlesque, etc.).

Some ideas but not the limit ... Alice in Wonderland, Dr. Suess, Captain Underpants, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Charlotte's web, The little Caboose, Where the wild things are, etc ...

Here's a list of New York Public Library's top 100 chilren's books if you need a few ideas ...

You can even combine stories into your creations (Pippi Longstocking meets Romona the pest)

Include a note indicating what children's literature your postcards are inspired by.

Of course, sender's choice.
