This swap helps us celebrate the New Moon on the December Solstice; participants in this swap will send to one partner. Your package to your partner will include a protection amulet or magickal tool specific to your tradition crafted out of found items in nature as the primary presence. You can supplement the amulet with store-bought items. In the North, we celebrate Yule, and a Winter Solstice with hearth fires in a more private & domestic ritual. You could include found items such as a twig to represent a yule log, anything representing pine, juniper, cedar and evergreens. Your artwork can include honoring the Great Mother. Please check your partner's profile and then make your amulet in a way that will magickally serve their greater good. Work with positive energy, clearing your workspace first, and then dedicating the project for their greater good. Wrap the amulet in something special that also reflects the December Solstice under this New Moon. Amulets can include gems, coins, drawings, pendants, rings, feathers, fur or beads. They can be paper, painted, carved, woven, sewn or otherwise crafted. Use your imagination and check your partner's profile. I would not expect flakers for any of this magickal work. If something comes up, please PM me and your partner. Newbies to this swap are welcome as long as they have completed a few swaps and have received 5 ratings. |
