PostMuse started a terrific Inchie Swap: Alphabet Inch by Inch--A, B, C, but it was going to be a few too many swaps for two few inchies--and I'm an impatient sort--not to mention postage poor! So for the convenience of others like me who like to work fast and mail few, Here is a Three part Inchie Alphabet Swap. This will be SWAP 2: Each of us will have one partner and send 9 inchies--J,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q,R. They must only be 1" square and each shall have one of these letters of the alphabet on them with some images or whatnots represented by the letter--for instance, A could have a tiny image of an apple or aardvark, B could have a lot of blue and some berries, etc. Be creative! To mail them you can choose whatever packaging method will get them safely to your partner. I usually use a pleated paper "rack" to tuck them into. I fold up a 4" wide strip of paper and tape the sides, making three rows of pockets with the sides taped, that will easily accommodate three inchies . I wrap these in tissue paper and tuck them into a notecard with my note and swap info, and mail them usually at the regular first class mail rate. You can use padded envelopes, or sandwich them in corrugated cardboard or foam core, or whatever creative thing you need to keep them safe. Swap Requirements: Basically--NO FLAKERS! Flaking on an inchie swap is just so lame!!! :( Newbies with full profiles and having written to me to convince me of their commitment to fulfill the swap are welcome--no message or profile, no welcome! Don't wait until the last minute and expect to get approved. Other than that, you need to have at least a 4.8 with no recent no-sends. I'll be checking before assigning partners, so write to me if you have questions or concerns. Parts 1 and 3 of this swap are also listed already. If anyone wants to copy this for an International Swap--feel free! Links to the other two swaps in this series: |
