Description:

For this swap you will send your partner a package with paper lucky star strips to make those cute lucky stars. I'd say 50 strips at least, and at least 1/3 inch wide and 9 inch long. You can buy them, cut them yourselve from cute paper (make sure they are clean cut with straight edges and from suitable paper to make good stars), just send a nice selection to your partner. This swap is international, as it should not be so expensive to mail. No no sends, you must have completed at least 5 snail mail swaps and you must have ratings higher than 4.8. Sorry, no newbies, i'd be happy to do a 1 on 1 swap with newbies to get their ratings up. I will be checking everyones profile before assigning partners.

haha...i was just cutting paper today at work and making them! i also went to a place my friend had told me they sold them near my house but i couldn't find it :( so i guess i'll be heading over to Little Tokyo soon, where I usually get them.

I'm so jealous of people who can make them...I've tried but I'm bad at it :(

Do you mean one new package, with one design, or can we make a package with a bunch of different strips?

You can either buy a package divide the strips between yourself and your partner and make the other half yourself, or send a whole new packet or make the entire packet yourself it is up to you, as long as they are what you would like to receive and at least 50 strips (all different or the same) in the package..

Agnetha...I had the same problem and then I realized the paper strips weren't long enough! once I made them a little bit longer (the bigger the star, the longer the strip of paper! the smaller the star, shorter!) they pinche perfectly! don't give up. keep trying!

i heard there are videos on youtube, maybe those will help you too. :)

It's like when you are looking at tv-programs of when they are cooking or building something...it looks so easy when they are doing it...but when when you are trying yourself it doesn't go that well LOL

Guess I have to keep on trying!!
