Washi + Deco Tape

I like deco tape too, but will it peel off itself on the sample cards?

I don't see why it wouldn't. It comes on rolls where it is stuck to itself. Unless you have to peel off a backing paper before sticking it down, that is.

Deco tape samples work the same way washi samples do. I exchange them back and forth with pen pals all the time. There are some that have a backing paper though as @cookingbear mentioned. and those probably wouldn't be a good idea to use unless you just cut off a 12" strip and fold it to fit in the envelope rather than winding it around a card.

@cookingbear LOL, you are right - they do come on rolls stuck to itself; I'm not sure what I was thinking. :)

I have found that with the cheaper deco tapes, part of the design gets pulled up when you unroll it from a sample. It's stuck to itself on the roll but wasn't designed to restick like washi tape. Better deco tapes don't do this though so it's always helpful to do a little test run. ☺

I suppose we could always send some extra deco tapes too, to allot for that possible mishap. :)
