It's time to start saving that junk mail again! It probably won't take long to acquire more than enough to make postcards. The last round produced some very interesting postcards! Take that junk mail and make 3 postcards from it. You can't use any other embellishments, just stuff from the junk mail. You can, of course, use an address label if you need to put that on the reverse to write the address and message on. Here's a helpful tip from PostMuse on those really slick and shiny cards or ads we get in the mail: "Those shiny cards....sandpaper them! Just take some fine sandpaper and lightly rub all over the surface. It will make it so you can use quality glue and it will stick. Be sure to make sure you brush the dust off before gluing, though." Send ONE postcard to THREE partners. Postcards should be at least 4 inches x 6 inches, which is the maximum size for postcard rate in the US. If you make your postcard larger, be sure and check for the proper postage amount. Postcards are to be mailed without an envelope, so be sure your glue is tight enough for the ride. The fine print: This swap is for swappers with a rating of 4.8 or higher, at least 3 rated swaps (mailed swaps), and no swaps outstanding more than 7 days at the close of the signup period. If you see that there are questionable swappers signed up for this swap, please let me know. Questions, comments, to get a quicker response, please use the contact link next to my user name above. |
