Description:

Thank you to @Zoe1975 for this swap idea!

We thought it would be fun to host a series of swaps through the alphabet. The size of the journal page will be one half of a regular sized page, or 4 1/2 x 5 1/2, which will fit easily into a 6x9 manila envelope.

Make your partner one journal page in the above size, with a photo of something that starts with an A. She suggested "aardvark" . I think that's a great idea, so good luck on finding one! Fortunately, there are other A words! Use your imagination.

If you like, write a line about your photo, telling where it was taken, etc. This in not required, it is only an option.

You may join all of the swaps through the alphabet, or only the ones that interest you.

I'll give us plenty of time to get our pictures after the sign up date. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to pm me, I am here every day.

As always, it's important to use a good lab, quality photo paper, and good, heavy cardstock for your creation.

If you have any 1's, please correct them before joining this swap. Thank you!

If you can't find an aardvark, what about an antelope???

Most countries don't have what you call a regular size page and don't use inches which I assume you meant when you just posted the numbers.

@zoe1975 or an apple, an angel, an azelea...

@Swan a 6x9 envelope is the same as 15.2cm x 22.86cm. Thank you for reminding me!

I am from the Netherlands. Can I use a Dutch word with an A or does it have to be an English word?

Oh, let's be wild and crazy! Sure, why not :) Maybe you can teach us something, @Terry9
