A private swap between KristinCali and Tclvrt! We will make a daybook/smashbook with all different pages and patterns. Minimum size will be 6x6 inches. Use scrapbook paper (double sided would be AWESOME so your partner doesn't have blank sides in their book). Embellishments are ok but it doesn't need to be elaborate, these are meant for your partners to fill. The books must be at least 15 pages (30 sides) and have 2 pockets or envelopes built in somewhere. I find sewing is the easiest way to bind them but you can use a spiral binder or even staple them if you can do it nicely. Get creative and daring! There is so much inspiration on youtube and google. Just search "handmade daybook" for ideas! PS- Somebody asked a tricky question so I thought I should mention it here. If you are going to fold your pages (to sew or staple) you need at least 8 sheets of paper. When folded they make 16 pages (32 sides). With a spiral binder you need at least 15 sheets of paper, each sheet has 2 sides (30 sides total). Hope that's clear! PSS- These books don't necessarily have to be profile based but at least check their profiles for any dislikes! |
