With FOCUSED Prayers & Supplications Swap

The Bible encourages us to pray not only for our own needs but for those who are in need of our prayers as well. In Philippians 4:6 we are instructed to take our requests before Him “by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving” to “let our requests be known to God”.

Some of us have really pressing situations in our lives right now, and could use a friend to vehemently pray for us at this time. This swap has been set up to faciltate these needs in a creative and helpful way. ;)

There are three parts to this swap:

-- You will have TWO PARTNERS. When you have received your partner assignments, you will first contact your partners to ask what they need you to pray about. The Partners can alternatively, ask you to pray for someone in their life, instead of themself. However, I’m asking that each person who participates in this swap will limit the things that they need prayer for to THREE THINGS, with as much detail as possible. The reason for this is that this is a FOCUSED PRAYER Swap.

--After you have jotted down the prayer topics for each of your TWO PARTNERS, you will begin to actively pray for those two partners for a 48 hour period, sending a statement to them via e-mail each time you’ve prayed for them during this time period. You will send the words "Prayed For You" on the subject line of their email each time you have prayed for them.

-- On the deadline date of the swap, please SNAIL MAIL your TWO PARTNERS a greeting card with a few words of encouragement relating to your focused prayers. You can insert a scripture card or other additional information but that is entirely up to you.

All are welcome to join with a well filled out profile. I reserve the right to ban someone at my discretion.
