With FOCUSED Prayers & Supplications

I just want to thank CraftiNana (HP) for her beautiful prayers for me. She has not only been writing "Prayed For You" in the subject line of her e-mails, she sends me sweet notes and talks to me about God. I love her! She is such a gentle soul and a loving spirit and she brings a BRIGHT HOPE to me with every e-mail.

I feel like I could sit down and literally just hang out with danidenco (DC) because she actually tells me that she has me in her thoughts throughout the day, she has -consistently- left me several lines every day. Her prayers for me are so uplifting and when I see her name in my inbox, my face breaks out in a huge smile. She is an angel!

I can feel myself being uplifted, the negative thoughts and self-doubt that were so persistent the last several weeks are vanishing. My one prayer partner send me a verse this morning that nearly knocked me over - it was something so close and personal to me. I

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to CynthiaCelenne777 for the beautiful prayers she has said for me over the past two days! Thank you also for hosting this swap! I feel so much closer to God and to the people I prayed for. I feel really blessed and special to have my concerns held up in prayer. I feel God moving in my heart and my life. I can't thank you enough for your prayers! God is good!!!

Yahoo! I feel the same way. This Focused Prayer has been such a blessing going two ways. It has also reinvigorated my prayer life and reminded me how important it is for us to do this others.

I'm doing about 5-10 minutes of prayer for my people at least 4 times a day.

I feel The Holy Spirit moving in a stronger way since I began this.

Loving it!

I'm thinking this would be a cool swap to do once a month or every other month but I want to give it a cool name that isn't as long as the current swap title. Something short that kind of summarizes the whole meaning and activity of this type of "prayer bombing". Hehe.

Suggestions anyone?

Thank you CynthiaCelenne777 for this wonderful opportunity to lift each other up in prayer! God has taken a front seat in the swap. Instead of dwelling on my problems I have spent more time before God, lifting up others in prayer. Instead of focusing on MY problems I have been able to focus on God and my prayer partners. I look forward to another Prayer swap.

Lagemaz - I am finding that EXACT THING in my own life. I've been so busy praying for my partners, that it has taken my mind off of my own issues.

The first day for each of my assigned peeps, I actually wrote out the whole prayer that I planned to pray for them over the next few days. I e-mailed them the written prayer, after that I just started making time every day four or five times a day to pray.

I've been using "natural timed activities": drive to work, after lunch, my afternoon tea break - to pray for them. I use those times just a mental cue to remind me "it's time".

I like what you said to me in your e-mail that you pray while you are crocheting a square. It's made me think about different opportunities and blocks of time that I could utilize for prayer. I never really thought about it before but during dishwashing, folding laundry, the drive to and from work, waiting in a doctor's office, waiting in line at the store, etc.

I loved this swap and my partners. Thank you. I really REALLY feel better. Sorry to see it end.

This has been the BEST swap ever! I want to keep on doing it, please. Thank you Cynthia for letting Him guide you in this path. I feel everything y'all have stated above. However, I am very compelled to tell what also happened to me during this time. Satan has seemed to be on a very harsh attack, so I prayed more and harder to God. The Holy Spirit was with me every step of the way. There was great guidance, absolute love and compassion for strangers (my prayer partners), and an overwhelming sense of peace that I have not known for quite some time.

I don't know if y'all are interested, but I'd like to do some Bible Study about some specific topics, such as "Sanctification." I'm not an expert by any means, but we could learn together. Just my two cents...

I want to thank everyone who participated in this. Know that God loves you. He is always there; it is us that need to be still sometimes and listen. I will continue to pray for y'all.
