Super Simple Swap: The Middle Name Game

For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by people's middle names: how they acquired them, their meaning and whether they get to use them in anything other than legal papers. In many cases, for example, a middle name was given as mark of respect honoring a relative. (I.E. Great Auntie Mildred)

I spoke with someone once who told me they knew a woman named Iona L. Peacock. Her mother had given her the middle name Lovely. ;) I'm not kiddin'.
