You will be creating one piece of mailart for one partner using prints done with tissue paper. If you haven't yet played with tissue paper on your gelli plate, I am sure you will be thrilled with the results. I start with white paper and do a one pull technique adding lots of texture to my plate before printing. Once dry, tissue paper can easily be adhered and collaged to paper panels to create one of a kind notecards, envelopes, postcards, etc. I have had a lot of fun stamping out my paper and then layering my paper directly over it. I use a Zig wide adhesive pen as well as thinned modge podge. I find tearing edges give a nice smooth look when blending multiple prints to one project and when working with paper panels, I normally wrap the tissue around to the back. Okay - one piece of mailart, senders choice, to one partner. Have fun! |
