Description:

This swap was inspired by my love of inspiring quotes; something that I'm sure that many of you also share in. :) The idea is that you will have a look over your partners profile and send them a quote that you think that they will like written on the back of a postcard. That's it! Whether or not you also include a brief note as to the relevance or your feelings/ experiences surrounding the quote is totally up to you.

With that said, postcards should be chosen with consideration towards the receivers preferences; whether you send your cards naked (without an envelope) or in an envelope is completely up to you (the sender).

I will be checking participants profiles and ratings thoroughly before assigning partners; if you are currently showing as late on any swaps I will request that you follow through on those before participating in this swap. Similarly, if you have a 1 rating and have not made an effort to follow through on the swap owing to your partner (especially if they are still an active member of the site), I will ask that you do this before participating in any of my swaps.

Newbies are welcome on a fairly selective basis. Please have a well filled out profile (with a nice listing of your likes as well as a self introduction) and consider joining the Newbie Helpers group. If I see both of these things when I'm checking your profile, you're in.

Please note that I do angel all of my swaps, although I will make every possible effort to ensure that my swaps remain fun and flaker-free.

Can they be handmade?

@ameribuddy welcome and thank you for your question! The postcards can be handmade if your swap partner welcomes handmade cards; I know that quite a few people do, but I've also seen a few people ask that they not be sent. In my case, I love handmade cards, so I'll hope that we are partnered. :)
