Description:

For the sake of size, we're going to try this on a dryer sheet! We are such good reyclers! Since they are light they should be able to go in an envelope. Be creative! Try this tute! Leave the foundation on! Color up to you stash, senders. As Marie said we can use muslin! Size wise like 12 inches let's say. That way if you decide that you want to trim the blocks you receive to 5 inches you won't have much waste!

Done on muslin, you can still get it mailed for a stamp (so long as you dont use heavy fabrics like velvets or denims). I don't use dryer sheets... A while back I switched over to using a mix of 1 part hair conditioner to 3 parts water on an old washcloth... so... How big are we making these? And is a muslin base ok? :-) Another good base is the super thin parts of old pillowcases and sheets that are not good for other sewing projects.

i would love to join this swap but i'm not sure that i understand what it is at all....can you please help me? is this like a string quilt block? if so, what size is it to be when finished? or am I totally off base and just don't know what this is at all? thanks so much.

I'm sorry to have missed out on joining this swap. My questions were ignored. I suppose they weren't good enough to answer.
