For this swap you'll be making 5 envelopes for 2 people, so 10 envelopes total.

The envelopes can be all one size or various sizes, your choice. Please make sure the envelopes are no smaller then a standard post-it note though please.

You can use patterned or colorful paper (like origami paper,)stickers, fabric, beads, foil, buttons, drawings, rubber stamps, etc to make your envelopes fun looking. (embelishments are optional.. sending along an envelope made of just colorful and/or patterned paper is fine!)

The envelope you place the 5 envelopes you're sending to your partner in does NOT have to be hand made, but you can if you feel like it!

if you feel like including a few goodies inside of the envelopes, go on ahead.. I'm sure your partner will appreciate it, but it is not required.

Do these have to be envelopes that can be mailed? Or can they also be ones that you would hand deliver? I am asking because the design and criteria are different, e.g., you could use a button to close one to be hand delivered but not if to be mailed. Thx.

you can do a combination, but try to have at least 2 mailable so that if your partner is expecting to mail some they won't be totally left without.
