Description:

Final goal of these swaps:

Have a complete deck of altered playing cards (APCs).

Method:

Every round one rank of altered playing cards will be swapped. You will make 4 altered playing cards belonging to the rank featured in that round. For example, when the featured rank is 'aces', you will make an 'ace of spades' APC, an 'ace of hearts' APC, an 'ace of clubs' APC and an 'ace of diamonds' APC. These four APCs you will send to your partner.

Rules:

Use standard sized and shaped playing cards (poker cards). (2.5×3.5 inches or 63.5×88.9 mm) At least one corner of the card must still be visible - you should still be able that the original card was eg. an ace of spades

This is a rather big swap since you have to make 4 APCs and send them to (and receive them from) only one partner. This means that you have a high responsibility when you join this swap. Therefore:

I will not allow any flaker (flake = ban from all my swaps) no recent bad and unexplained ratings allowed you must be an active member of the swap-bot community you will make your best work - put an effort in your work!

Yay! I'm glad I'm around from the beginning so that I don't miss any of the cards!

This sounds like a great swap!

Two comments:

Both corners normally don't need to be shown (one definitely does, though).

This should be type 3 - lots of craftiness is needed.

I'm joining :)

Yep, definitely a type three. Just like an ATC!

I'm happy that everyone is so excited about it :) And I agree with your comments and suggestions. I've changed it into a type 3 swap and changed it into 'one corner' ;-)

Because I am sending all 4 to the same partner, I am assuming that I am to make each card differently?

JenniferVD 11/ 2/2013 #

I assume this would be the nicest thing to do. However, I think it is mostly up to you - you could also give them a different theme or work within the same theme. The most important thing is to make your swap partner happy and show that you have done an effort and given them your best work.
