I haven't seen a swap like this yet so I decided to start one: you'll have one partner with which you'll swap 1 altered altoid tin full of whimsy.....think a matchbox/whimsy jar meets an altoid tin!decorate the outside of the mint size tin with a fairy theme, and fill with anything you like, or think your partner would like:stickers, buttons, beads, small fabric squares, brads, charms, ribbon, beads....whatever you like.please no flakers, as I'm swamped and can't angel....open to international (although I don't know if they sell altoids over seas.If so then be my guest), 5.0 rating required unless newbie then complete your profile the mail me. just so everyone is clear, You don't have to fill it with fairy themed items, unless you want to.Just treat the inside as you would a matchbox or whimsy jar and fill with whatever embellishment-like things that you'd like.

could you tell me what size is this tin..I have never heard of a altoid tin..thanks

the altoid tin that I just measuerd is roughly the size of an atc, 2 and 1/2 by 3 and 1/2 inches....I measured the cinnamon mint altoid container.Here in the states you buy them at the checkout counter of your local grocery

My tin is slightly bigger at 5 by 3 is that ok ... :o) this sounds like a great swap cant wait .....

That's ok, I know that there's different sizes in the tins depending on which mints you eat.I don't think your partner would complain if you decided to fill a larger tin,lol!

I just saw this swap and can't resist, I do tins on a regular basis but usually when I'm done I've decorated both the inside and outside, could I send the extras just enclosed? Looking forward to this, Thanks for organzing this.

This might be a silly question... Are we supposed to take pics of our swaps and post them? If so, won't it ruin the "surprise" for our partners before they receive the goodies? :o)
