I have always had a fascination with the Plague Doctors of the Dark Ages. They were not really doctors, but they did serve an important role in keeping others safe... and they wore some cool gear! I made myself a Steampunk version of the mask and LOVE wearing it to our local Renaissance Faire. For this swap we will make 2 ATCs with some sort of reference to a Plague Doctor... 1 card for each partner... All are welcome as I will angle if necessary. If needed, rate your partner with a 1 and then contact me. Open media, all styles welcome, send something you are proud of... Thanks and Happy Swapping!

Plague doctors are so cool and creepy! My ex was really into them for some reason, has an amazing mask, complete costume, and now a tattoo. They are very cool.

Imma see if I can do good plague doctor ATCs first and THEN join because I am doubting my abilities. :P

Omgomg I am obsessed with plague doctors. I'm not feelin ATCs at the moment, but if anyone wants to make a plague doctor ATC for some goodies, PM me please. I'd love to add this to my collection.

i'm with @benevolentghost .. I've always had a fascination with the plague doctors but i have no idea how or what atc's are... if someone is willing to swap me one of the plague doctor atc for some goodies or items they need i would love to. Hope i'm not intruding on this swap by asking but i just would love to see an atc and maybe try make one of my own if i have something to go by... xx

@KatarinaNavane Very cool, @ everyone else, I have made 4 of my Doctor cards... nothing too fancy, just the classic image etched in aluminum. 2 are for this swap, but the other 2 are unclaimed (so far). If someone wants to set up a private swap, drop me a note and I'll trade them for "goodies"...

Probably a strange question, but does it need to be a plague doctor of the past style (ones from the actual era) or can we play around wih the concept? Eg modernise it? ;)
