(The swap picture is from an amazing chess set that I found looking around on the internet. You can view the whole set here . This skill level is definitely not expected for this swap, but I thought they were cool anyway!) For this swap, you will send your partner two Doctor Who-themed polymer clay creations. This creations should be at least one inch tall. This swap welcomes people of all skill levels. I know that my polymer clay creatures will never be award-winners, but I have so much fun making them that I thought this would be a good swap. Here are some great tutorials if you have never worked with polymer clay before: A list of general polymer clay tips and tutorials You polymer clay creations can be anything related to Doctor Who, so skill level should not be an issue. Think of all of the fun things that can be DW related (Jelly Babies, Jammie Dodgers, and fezzes, oh my!) that look fairly simple to recreate. Remember that clay creations can be fragile, so please wrap your items well before sending them to their new home. I am also setting a fairly long period of time between the sign up and send by dates, so you will have time to experiment in this is your first time playing with clay. I find it to be a really enjoyable craft, and I hope you will too! We have an amazing group of swappers in here thanks to the hard work of the group founders, but just to reiterate - please keep in constant contact with your partner if you think you may be late (though do your very best to send this out promptly). Rate when you receive your items. Part of the DWF 50 Swaps for the 50th Anniversary #46If you have any questions, just ask! |
