Happy Bouncy Dancy Music! Newbie Friendly!

WHAT: Titles and artists of 15 (or more!) happy, bouncy songs / pieces of music that make you feel like dancing, whether it's in your chair, your car, around the house, or all out on a dance floor. Links to the songs somewhere like youtube, spotify, or to download mp3s are also very welcome, so we can find them that much easier. (The RIAA, Recording Industry Artists of America, who make these kinds of rules, say that downloading an mp3 and keeping the song for up to 72 hours to see if you like it before buying is okay. I don't know the laws of other countries.) It can also be fun to add notes about the songs, like what you particularly enjoy about it, when you first heard it, who or what it makes you think of, whatever. These don't have to be songs in the "dance" genre, or just sunshiny syrupy sweet songs, they can be anything that makes you feel good and feel like moving, from classical like Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty Waltz, to joyous country music, to what my husband calls "happy punk" -- fast beats and double time guitars but with upbeat, fun lyrics to go with them rather than political problems. You will be emailing (or PMing if you prefer) your list of 15 or more songs to each of 5 partners. If we get a lot of people joining, I'll make it 10 partners; the more the merrier!

WHY: Besides just the joy of sharing music, studies (like one at University of Heidelburg) show that dancing makes a person happier, happier than just listening to the same music without dancing, happier than riding a stationary bike. I like being happy, and I like music. And dancing in my desk chair.

THE USUAL FINE PRINT: Since this is a fairly easy swap with no monetary cost involved, it's open to newbies with a well-filled out profile (I should have to page down at least once; a filled out profile shows us that you're serious about swapping) and people with a rating of at least 4.8 and no unexplained 1's or 3's in recent months. If you don't meet those requirements and still want to join, PM me and we'll talk. Of course I will angel if needed, but really, who would want or need to flake on a swap like this? No one, I hope! If you receive 15 or more song titles & their artists, please rate your partner with a 5. You might consider a heart if they have more songs, provide links, notes, or anything else special.
