Can someone tell me what qualifies as a no touristy card? I see that on a lot of the postcard swaps. Thanks.

Touristy would be a card that shows activities that are attractions to your area. Like if fishing is common in your area, a PC of people fishing off a pier would be touristy. Anything relating to hotels, places of interest, etc. would be touristy. Non touristy would be anything else. Could be flowers, trees, animals, mountains, scenery etc. PCs that are just plain random like a card with an artist's famous work on it, a cartoon character, etc. Hope that helps.

How do I meet the minimum rating requiremant

pne 08/15/2013 #

@Ma2kittens you will have to send at least one swap and have it rated before you will have a rating at all. So if your first swap works fine (you send the correct thing and on time), you'll get rated a 5 and will then have an average rating of 5.0.

Got my cards today :) excited to send them as much as I want to keep them :p I'm going to have to go buy more :)

Hmmm, I thought scenery would be considered "touristy" especially if the name of the location is on the card... Or even a random object, e.g. I have a PC of Declaration on Independence, but I thought it is touristy because it is from Philadelphia... Or a PC of a random jazz musician that says "New Orleans"....

Hello. I have tons of professional artist made high grade post cards. Are they OK to use in this swap??? kIT

kittyhahahotbot 08/17/2013 #

I realize I do not meet the minimum. Would you please make an exception??? Thank you! Kit

I'm pretty sure this and the other "postcards in envelope" swaps should be a type 2 swap, not type 3.
