Ok, I am having Dotee withdrawal. For this swap, you will have to use your imagination and come up with a bedtime themed Dotee. Maybe make her pj's out of star themed fabric...or clouds...or give her a little slumber hat...maybe she could be holding a teddy bear....be creative! I am going to make this swap international. I don't think it would cost too much to send a dotee overseas. This swap is open to anyone with a 4.0 rating or higher. Newbies welcome with a completed profile. For a heart, instead of sending "extras" you may include a little bedtime verse/poem/quote. Your swap sounds like a fun idea however I don't join swaps with such a low requirement rating, or when someone dicates how to earn a heart or give one.

I know 4.0 isn't a great rating but I decided to give people a chance to boost their ratings...as with the last swap I hosted, I have no problem angeling...I have no problem making an extra dotee and sending to somebody who hasn't received. I love making dotees and just wanted to make a fun swap that many could join.

And as for the heart, I was not dictating, I was just trying to throw out ideas to keep the swap inexpensive...that's why I said "you MAY include...."

I'm sorry you chose not to join, I would love for you to be a part of this swap.

Promise! Cute! The sandman had to wait around here lastnite until I finally crawled into bed at 2 a.m. But the night time dollie fairies were very busy! Sweet dreams!

This sounds like a great swap. I've never made a dotee before, but am fascinated by them, I checked out the pics and tutorial. A dotee sounds almost like a comfort or worry doll. Can't wait to get started

I've just completed and sent my first ever dotee. I think I did a pretty good job, though it pales in comparison to the ones I've seen on Flickr. But, I know I have a new addiction now!! Okay, STUPID QUESTION, What is the correct pronunciation of Dotee? My kids were making comments about this as I was trying to work.

Well, the woman who created the first Dotee doll is named Dot...so I would guess Dot-ee (long e). That's how I say it anyway lol
