USA & CANADA ONLY * * * You are to send your partner 10 cute/designed/not plain envelopes. Simple enough! Homemade is ok but not all of them. Nice enough so they can be used easy (written on easy). Size, not tiny and not huge. A good size for letter writing and small swaps. Newbies welcome, however I will determine when sign ups end if you will be allowed in the swap. Rating of 4.7 or higher preferred. USA & Canada only.

So would 9 handmade and 1 store bought envelope be okay?

it is ok but as long as they are good quality. it would be better if there were 2 or more store bought tho.
